Hello everyone (。・ω・)ノ゙ コンチャ♪
Sorry I’m late again!!
Let’s get to the point without wasting your time!
Travelling in Hinohara village with Tamaki Hiroshi ♥
As Tamaki san leaves the waterfall behind and
starts walking on the road again,
he encounters an old man…
and something exciting!
He greets the man and asks him what this is…
He tells him that this is a Monorail!
it only has 3 seats!! including the driver’s seat XD
And the driver is the old man (Yoshikawa san)
Tamaki san asks him what’s up there,
and he tells him that his own house is there!
Then Tamaki san’s eyes sparkle and
he asks Yoshikawa san:
“Are you going to go back home right now?”
And when he says yes… Tamaki san immediately says:
“Is it OK if I go home with you?” (^_^;
I bet Yoshikawa san thought he was kidding,
but he wasn’t!!!
He will go home with you!! XD
hahahahaha!!
Only two seats available!
So the only one who gets to go with him is the camera man!
The monorail starts moving with
a surprising unexpected shake!!
hehehehe
Maybe Tamaki san is wondering
if it was a good idea to begin with!
They keep going up and up…
The monorail was built 10 years ago.
Just for the residents who had trouble climbing the mountains
and going back home every time.
It’s quite scary when you look down…
On their way up,
Tamaki san finds a Japanese serow!!
staring at them with a curious face XD
hahahahahaha!!
☆
Yoshikawa san makes a short stop just for his guest!
So that he can enjoy the beautiful scenery
on their right side.
Then Tamaki san asks him:
“Aren’t you scared of riding on this anymore?”
“I am not! But there are people who say
they are afraid of getting on, even men…
You just have to get used to it.
I was scared too…
in the beginning!
Now I don’t really feel anything!”
he replies.
Then Tamaki san asks:
“Otoosama’s house is a little bit further?”
“Maybe 400 meters away…”
“Still 400 meters to go?!”
“Maybe 300!”
“Still 300 meters?!”
hahahahaha XD
Wonder if Tamaki san is starting to regret
getting on this monorail!
They start moving again…
Pointing his finger toward the slope,
Tamaki san admits that going down is pretty scary!
☆
Finally they arrive!
otoosan’s house is HUGE!
But it’s old…
Tamaki san follows him behind,
“Indeed this is a hard place to live!”
Yoshikawa san who has turned 84 this year,
was born and raised in this house!
☆
Then they sit down and have a chat in the
entrance area of Yoshikawa san’s house.
Tamaki san says:
“It was a pretty sharp slope!
Isn’t it hard to live here?”
Yoshikawa san says that it is!
It was harder when there was no monorail…
they had to carry everything on their back
when climbing the mountain…
Then Tamaki san notices something…
A deer’s horn!
He asks Yoshikawa san about it,
and he explains that the horns of the deer
will naturally fall at a certain time of the year…
seems like his son found this in a farm nearby
and brought it back home!
Then Tamaki san asks:
“So it’s a natural, real horn?!”
And Yoshikawa san picks it up and hands it to him
so that he can make sure it’s real XD
Tamaki san holds it in his hand and says that it’s heavy!
As he hands it back to Yoshikawa san,
he says that it must be precious to him
since his son picked it up!
There were two of them of course but his
grandson took one home with him.
Then Tamaki san asks him if he lives here all by himself.
And he says YES! >__<
After his wife passed away.
Tamaki san then says that it must have became
hard to take care of things around here after she passed away…
doing all the shopping by himself and stuff… 😥
As they go out and sit down on an old couch in the porch…
Tamaki san asks Yoshikawa san if his wife liked this place as well.
Yoshikawa san says that his wife used to live
in the house next to them!!! They were neighbors…
They were both raised in the same place!
So she was probably used to this kind of life
with all the hardship it must have had!!
(Wonder what’s the story behind those bananas!! XD )
☆
Then Yoshikawa san shows him the beautiful scenery
which “Belongs only to him and no one else” as Tamaki san says ^^
But it feels super lonely and sad…
Just felt weird leaving him behind with his monorail… ^^
☆
NEXT!!
Let’s do some fishing!!
XD
Tamaki san visits a fishing spot.
As he enters the place and starts talking to the lady in charge….
hahahahhaha…
somehow the lady’s facial expression is amazing!
Tamaki san asks her if fishing is possible right now
and she says YES!
She tries to treat him like a normal visitor
but she can’t hold it inside and asks:
“Tamaki… Hiroshi san, isnt it?”
And then she passes him the bait and a net
for keeping the fish he catches inside it.
The bait is Ikura!!! Fish eggs…
He also gets a fishing stick as he steps inside!
I remember him saying that he can never really enjoy
fishing that much because he has to wait for a long time
and he gets bored XD
But what about this time?!
☆
There are many nijimasu (Rainbow trouts)
swimming in the river!
He gets ready but he goes to the old man
who works here, to get some advice!
They put the ikura as the bait and go for it!
Somehow…
it takes him less than a minute to catch one!
ヽ(・∀・)ノ
The fish is struggling hard and moves up and down,
first it’s hard for him to keep it in his hand…
almost lets it slip away once,
but finally manages to holds it still and puts it in the net!
Going for the next one…
He’s already possessed by this fishing thing…
making his “concentrating” face ♥(o´艸`)
Another fish is trapped but somehow he’s late
and the fish manages to eat the bait and run away!
hehehehehe
As he goes for the next one,
he talks to us about his experience in fishing!
Saying that he doesn’t really have much experience
in this field to begin with XD
He had done it a few times just for the fun…
but he is interested!
Maybe he will do it more often from now on ^^
Another one!!
amazingly, he does it much better this time!
Even the old man is amazed by how good
he naturally is at this!
“You are good!” the old man says!
“Really?! No! The fish are just being kind!”
Tamaki san replies ^^
The way he holds the fish and removes the bait
from the mouth tenderly…
even someone like me who hates fishing,
was able to change mind and accept
the reality of the natural circle of life!
In the end,
he managed to catch 4 fishes!
Just in 10 minutes O_O
The old man says that the water in the river is clean,
that’s why the taste of the fish is good as well!
Now let’s cook the fish!
(Don’t know why there are 5 here!!!
hahahahaha! I swear he said 4!)
The old man explains to him how to do this,
and when to eat the fish…
As they wait for the fish to be cooked,
Tamaki san asks the old man about
what he used to do before he starts working here.
Seems like he was a Taxi Driver!! XD
Then Tamaki san asks him which one he thinks it’s fun…
the life he used to have or the life he’s living right now!
And of course he chooses his current life style ^^
Saying that he gets to talk to many people
when they come here.
OK, let’s see if the fish is ready!
Tamaki san picks one and sits back…
it’s too hot he can’t even hold
the other side of the stick with his hand…
But he wants to eat…
He can’t wait any longer XD
he tries blowing on it but we all know it’s useless!
Going for a bite knowing that it will burn his tongue (^_^;
Taking one bite…
his facial expression changes completely!!
hehehehehehe
“It’s tasty, right?”
the old man asks.
“It is tasty!!”
he replies with a happy tone in his voice XD
He says that it’s very delicious.
The fish was swimming until a few minutes ago.
The meat is juicy and the skin is crunchy!
(≧∇≦)♥
Tamaki san says that the place is pretty close
to the center of Tokyo.
And he really wants to introduce it
to the kids from this generation
who don’t know much about the nature!
☆
The final destination of his trip to Hinohara village,
is a place which is famous as the
神様の通り道
The God’s Passage!
☆
First he reaches a tunnel…
it’s pitch black inside!!!
Without the light of the filming crew,
it would have been impossible to cross the way XD
But on the other side….
Such a beautiful place is waiting for him!
Must be a little bit hard to walk here…
Tamaki san points to the top and says
“The God’s gate!”
Being recorded as one of the Natural monuments of Tokyo,
kanoto iwa (神戸岩), is considered to be
a passage for the Gods to cross.
Tamaki san loves the place…
he becomes excited and go down the cliff…
He says:
“I’ve been visiting all around Hinohara village since this morning,
but I didn’t expect such an amazing place to be
waiting here for us as our last stop!”
He walks on the slippery stones of the narrow road
by the river… >__<
quite dangerous but he’s enjoying it to the fullest!
ヽ(*^^*)ノ
And he continues:
“Wondering about the naming of a place called kanoto,
coming here and being able to realize
the reason why it was named like that…”
He also says that he is happy just knowing
this is all placed in Tokyo,
and a huge natural place like this
actually is being kept as it is in this area.
“A meaningful journey with great unexpected discoveries it was!”
He says ♥(≧∇≦)
☆
I always skip the last part but this time I’m going to write about it…
Every trip he goes on, he takes a lot of photos as you already know ^^
And he always chooses one of them,
the staff will make it into a post card,
and send it to 5 lucky viewers who had participated
in the simple quiz they have for each episode.
This week, the post card looked like this:
ヽ(*^^*)ノ
☆
Another journey has ended!
Thank you so much for reading this all and
sorry for all the time I kept you waiting m(__)m
See you soon!
